KARTING: AT THE CIRCUITO VALLE DEL LIRI IN ARCE THE TK DAY 2024
Sport and aggregation in a day entirely dedicated to Taglienti branded karting.
On a Sunday with spring temperatures, at the Circuito Valle del Liri in Arce (Fr), the 2024 edition of the TK Day was archived. An entire day of sport and aggregation that, as usual, put karting at the center of the activities, understood in the way of the Taglienti family.
The Team/Company that brings the family name as a dowry reaches its 42nd year of activity in the world of motorsport and, collecting important results throughout its long history, this year it has been able to embellish its trophy cabinet by winning 3 national titles.
At TK Day, in a yellow-black end-of-season party, all the drivers and teams that have chosen over time to use TK brand materials were invited. The invitation was clearly welcomed and, at the roll call at the start of the day, there were about 100 karts on the track.
The passion for racing, 42 years long, has inevitably crossed the different eras of a sport that, since its early years, has enthralled and involved different generations. It is precisely this passage of time that, transversally, has marked three generations of the Taglienti family, that has meant that drivers and vehicles that compete in the top national and international competitions were involved, as well as historic karts and drivers who, in recent decades, have marked the history of karting.
Among the many present at the event, the adhesion was collected by representatives of the institutions and drivers who, starting from karting, have then been able to collect important satisfactions in the continuation of their careers. With the Honorable Mario Abbruzzese, also present at the event Oronzo Pezzolla, representative of the Sports Council of Aci, the multi-decorated Alessandro Piccini winner of 4 World Championships, 3 European championships and 12 national titles, as well as the former Formula 1 driver and recent winner of the Italian Endurance Championship Giancarlo Fisichella.
“The satisfaction of finding so many friends on this day of celebration is enormous” – said Toni Taglienti, team manager of TK, on the sidelines of the final awards – “The work over a season, or rather 42 seasons, has allowed us to build relationships that have consolidated over time and this allows us, every year, to look to the following season with optimism. Knowing that we have managed to meet the expectations of drivers and teams and that we enjoy the esteem of the institutions fills us with pride.”
At the end of the event, all the pilots were awarded with gadgets and consumables offered by the many partners of the event who, where possible, further enriched an event that is already projected towards 2025 with renewed enthusiasm.
