After the world championship held in Lonato in 2020, our racing team competes in the Fia Karting World Championship KZ / KZ2 on the Le Mans (FRA) track, a weekend in continuous growth and development for our drivers.
In the KZ class, Roberto Taglienti and Antonio Piccioni have a good weekend. Roberto Taglienti, after some problems in qualifying and two heats, still manages to qualify for the final, thanks to the 14th and 17th place in one heat and super heat. In the final he sprints thirty-fifth and ends 30th.
Antonio Piccioni, author of an excellent weekend, after qualifying in 30th position, recovers positions in the heats, finishing 10th, 14th, 15th, and retirement in the super heat. Starting from 30th place in the final, he recovers eight positions, finding himself in 22nd place, but a contact at the last corner forces him to retire.
The only standard bearer in KZ2 Master, the new class (for those over 35) with 70 starters, is Emanuele Villani, who shows good speed, but due to two retirements he was unable to qualify. A good weekend of growth and experience for him.
Thanks to Testagialla Engines for the engine part and to all our partners.
