The Italian Aci Karting 2022 championship begins for all categories on the Franciacorta circuit (BS), with 335 drivers at the start. The TK Racing Team present with 6 drivers in three different categories, where it triumphs in the 60 Mini and KZN Under category.

An unstoppable Edoardo Mario Sulpizio in 60 Mini scores pole position, but after a physical problem on Saturday he does not take part in the heats, forced to start from the back of the grid by the repechage, thanks to an amazing comeback he wins Final 2.

Excellent comeback also for Christian Carratelli who in final 2, started 25th and finished in 9th place.

Good performance also for Marco Verde, who qualified in 29th position, recovering with the heats up to 11th place, then finishing the weekend in 25th position.

Antonio Piccioni is among the protagonists of the Franciacorta weekend in KZN Under. The reigning Italian champion of the category gets a seventh place in the qualifying heats and is in the fourth row in final 1. Finishing in 5th place, with the inversion of the grid, he starts from the fourth box and wins the final 2.

Difficult weekend for the only girl of the team, Francesca Cifola, after having qualified for the final, ends in thirtieth position.

The only standard bearer in KZN Senior, Emanuele Villani, author of two excellent qualifying heats on Saturday, who qualified 25th, finishes in 13th and 8th positions respectively. Sunday was compromised by some race contacts.
